The child sponsorship programs continue to grow in Ecuador with the second phase opening up in a neighborhood called Malecon [mah-lay-cone’], the area in Quininde with the highest level of crime and prostitution. The state in which the children live in this community is unimaginable. Hello. My name is Grace Knor and I am fourteen years old. I have just returned home from a two and a half month stay in Ecuador. I stayed with my Uncle Fred and Aunt Arlene and my cousin Erin.
