IMPACT takes an (I)ntegrated approach to (M)issions, (P)roblem solving and raising (A)wareness,  with the prayer that this will encourage (C)ompassion and (T)hankfulness among students in grades 7 - 10 using articles in each issue of the magazine.

The questions below are based on the articles in the winter, 2010, issue of the magazine.  They have been prepared by Mrs. Tanya Byl who is a high school teacher at  the Rehoboth .

An Ancient Love Story
1. Make a T-chart. On one side, list the significant events in the story given in Judges 1:11-15. On the other side, show how those events point to Christ and the Gospel. 

Where Did My Sponsor Child Go?
1. Sometimes sponsor children and their families move away. What are the reasons for moving?

2. What is the second major reason that sponsor children are removed from the sponsor list?

3. What two opposing qualities of developing countries do leaving forms show?

Growing With Hope Sponsorship Update
1. What things are given to the sponsor children?

2. What is the result of these things in the children?

My Story
1.List all the ways that Nidia’s son Andrew will have a different childhood than she had, God willing. Think of both circumstances and opportunities.

A Decade of Blessings
1. How have the children in the Lizulu Orphan Care Project improved over the ten years it has existed?What impact has the Project had on the neighboring communitiesy?

Ekukhanyeni Old Age Home
1. What is the Ekukhanyeni Old Age Home? Describe how it came to be as well as what it is physically.

2. Who began and runs the home? What character quality (or qualities) does this display?

3. What is the mission of the Care Workers at the home? What do they provide?a.)

4. List the material needs of the Home that the Miskins give near the end of the article. b.) “Compared to the conditions in which they were found prior to living at Ekukhanyeni they consider themselves most blest by their present situation.” With this fact and the list from 4a, imagine how these elderly people lived prior to arriving at the Home.
