La Palabra Christian School

La Palabra Christian School, Monjas, Guatemala.

With a total of 340 students, of which 160 are sponsor children, this school is currently operating in very run-down facilities. In partnership with Word & Deed North America, AMG Guatemala hopes to begin the construction of a new building a few blocks away from the current location in January 2011, the Lord willing. The people of Monjas are enthusiastically in support of the project and have donated land, engineering services and much more. Word & Deed has a goal of raising $227,400 for this project. The school will have 11 classrooms for primary and secondary grades.
