Many of us look back with great fondness on our trip (or trips!) to Gulfport. Even though the context of the trip was both sad and tragic, the opportunity to help victims of the hurricane in the name of Christ as well as to forge friendships was a very special one.

Lisa Ladner, the project manager for the Gulfport Katrina recovery projects, has called to ask me to invite you to the official opening of their new church building on January 17, 2010.
